Examples

Start with a small, complete package. These examples live in the Terminay repository and use the public extension API.

Codex agent provider

A production TypeScript extension that recognizes Codex CLI sessions, proves a terminal-scoped journal binding, and publishes root and subagent activity.

Basic project environment

The smallest project-environment provider: a create form, a ready environment, and the required provider runtime methods.

Use an example well

  1. Copy one package into its own repository and give it a globally unique extension ID.
  2. Keep the manifest contribution ID and the runtime registration ID identical.
  3. Build and pack the package, then upload its .tgz in Terminay.
